JITO Administrative Training Foundation (JATF), in association with JITO Ladies Wing organised a Seminar on 'Golden Career Opportunity in Civil Services' on 5th June 2021. Shri. Rajeev Dasot (IPS), Director General (Jails), Govt. of Rajasthan; Shri. Naveen Jain (IAS), Secretary-Food & Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Planning & Statistics Dept, Govt. of Rajasthan and Shri. Rajendra Bhanawat (Retd. IAS), Ex. MD-RIICO were the key speakers for this seminar. The Seminar was well attended by 642 aspirants/their parents.
The seminar started with Navkar Mantra.
JATF Hon. Secretary General Shri. Lalit Kumar Dangi welcomed all and briefed about JATF Projects, Activities, Processes and Performance. He also explained about JATF’s Common Entrance Test for admissions to hostels.

JATF President shri. Anil Jain talked about the thought process behind formation of JATF and also about its objectives.

JATF Chairman Shri. Hemant Jain explained about “Mission 100” launched by JATF. “Mission 100” means adding 100 new Patron Members to JATF and also to accomplish a goal of 100 civil services officers year on year. He informed that through new hostels at Delhi, Jaipur, Pune and Bengaluru, JATF is enhancing its hostel capacity for students.

Shri. Rajeev Dasot (IPS), Director General (Jail), Govt. of Rajasthan and key speaker addressed on “Civil Services for Dummies” and explained about Civil Services from a layman’s point of view. He elaborated about group of 19 services under ‘Civil Services’; about selection process- Prelims, Main’s exams and interview. According to him, hard work, dedication, devotion, sincerity and perseverance are keys to success in Civil Services. He also highlighted the scope and financial aspects of Civil Services.

Shri. Naveen Jain (IAS), Secretary-Food & Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Planning & Statistics Dept, Govt. of Rajasthan and key speaker addressed on “How to Prepare for Civil Services Examination?”
He described ‘Prelims’ as elimination test and said that if one qualifies Prelim and score approx. 100 out of 200 marks in GS-1, he/she can get through to Main’s examination. He advised all to prepare for Prelims and Mains simultaneously as there is hardly any time for preparation in between Prelims and Mains exanimations. The time in between the two exams need to be utilised for revision. He highlighted importance of Civil Services and also explained about two years training after selection for Civil Services.

Shri. Rajendra Bhanawat (Retd. IAS), Ex. MD – RIICO and key speaker addressed on "Civil Services: Is it worth?" and weighted that it is really worthy to be a Civil Services Officer because they can change lives of others for better. He advised parents to motivate their wards for Civil Services right from Matriculation level. He advised aspirants of civil services to appear for JATF’s CET. According to him, getting admitted to JATF Hostel itself mean that half task is accomplished.

JITO Ladies Wing Chief Secretary Smt. Sonali Dugar said that the golden opportunity in Civil Services does exist. She also delivered vote of thanks.
