  • RYA Cosmo moved into its own premises at Chetpet Commenced S. Badalchand Sugankavar Chordia Free Dispensary
  • A Lyca Microscope along with its accessories was imported from Swizerland and donated along with 100 Hepatitis B Vaccinces to Adayar Cancer Institute.

MANAGING TRUSTEE 2001 – 2003

  • June 2001, RYA Cosmo School was built at Kharoi in Gujarat, an earthquake affected village.
  • A modern clinical lab and X-ray unit was established in our Dispensary.
  • Relief materials worth Rs. 30 Lakhs were sent to Earthquake affected areas of BHUJ, in Gujarat.

PRESIDENT : 2004 – 2005

  • Relief materials worth Rs. 15 Lakhs sent to Tsunanil victims at costal areas of Tamilnadu.
  • In February 2005, Multi Mega Speciality Health Camp was organized at Koovathur village near Kalpakkam. More than 12,000 people screened on a single day at an app. Cost of Rs. 50 Lacs. Labs, C- Ray machines, including EGG and Treadmills all transported on wheels and Doctors from all Specialties from leading hospitals in Chennai took part. It was indeed a Multi Mega Speciality Health Camp and can be appropriately termed “Hospital on Wheels”.
