Hostel Information

A JATF hostel with a capacity of 75 students for supporting IIT aspirants has been set up at Kota which provides accommodation and coaching. We have an in-house canteen which provides healthy vegetarian food. The JATF hostel is located at 419 - New Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Kota - 324005 (Rajasthan) which is in the proximity of all major Coaching Institutes.

Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have appeared for 10th examination or passed 10th, 11th or 12th examinations are eligible. Students who have appeared once for IIT entrance examination are also eligible for coaching under this programme. However, students who have appeared twice for IIT are not eligible for admission.

Entrance Examination

An online entrance examination is conducted for all the applicants. Different question papers are prepared for students of 10th, 11th and 12th classes. Examination will be held at JATF hostel in Kota.

Computer or Notepad would be provided for taking the exam. The question papers are online and are different for each student. A student is allowed to take two online tests, if he wishes and the better of the two is considered. Results of tests are generally informed on the same day or next day.

Date of Examination

The JATD CET exam will be held on different dates during the period April to August every year. The exact dates will be decided depending upon the examination dates of the coaching institutes.

Weightage for Academic Performance

Students who have CGPA of 10 in Class 10 / > 90% in their respective Boards in all subjects or more than 95% in PCM will be given extra
weightage of 5 bonus points.

Weightage for Olympiad / NTSE / Other Entrance Examinations

Additional bonus marks would be given for students scoring high ranks in competitive exams like NTSE, KVPY, and OLYMPIAD. Decision of academic committee would be final and binding.

Students are guided to join well reputed and prestigious coaching institutes in Kota. We also provide facility for problem solving to the students as and when they desire.

Evaluation of Academic Performance

We have regular evaluation mechanism whereby monthly results of coaching institute is evaluated by expert team and feedback is given to students.

Mentoring Facility & Motivational Talks

Ex IITians and other professionals provide mentoring facility to students in the hostel. They remain in touch with the students to provide them regular help in academic and personal issues. There are regular talks by motivational speakers, IAS officers from Jain community, Ex IITians, etc.

Rs. 11,000/- Per Month for Single Occupancy
Rs. 9,000/- Per Month on twin sharing basis (Two in a Room)
