Career so Far

Mr. Prateek Sanghvi, a young and dynamic entrepreneur who could have gone into the field of real estate development, manufacturing and media but still chose a different arena and entered full-fledged in the World of Education and Skill Training. He did his Masters in Mass Communication from Southern Illinois University, USA and Under-Graduation in Business Administration from University of Missouri, USA.

In 2006, he took an initiative in the interest of the society and established Sanghvi Institute of Management & Science (SIMS) with a single goal to provide quality education to students who are not able to get into top Colleges/Institutes in India and abroad. He understands that giving education is doing a Nobel cause, and it also help’s in giving back to the Society. He is of the opinion that education is the fourth basic need after food, cloth and shelter. Prateek’s aim to open an Educational Institute was to provide a platform to young lads and lasses to fly high in the sky of academic career. He is committed to provide the best education ambience which will lead to multi-dimensional learning of students. He believes that education is a mission before a profession. SIMS is a societal entrepreneurial initiative in the realm of qualitative education with a mission to educate wealth creators.

SIMS had been associated with lot of eminent personalities from Education and Industries. This team of intellectuals’ was the Mentors to SIMS. To name a few, Padmasri Dr. Pritam Singh, has been a Director General of International Management Institute, New Delhi since April 7, 2011. He serves as Dean of ASCI Hyderabad and IIM, Bangalore. He also serves as a Member of the Local Board for Northern area of Reserve Bank of India. Dr. Rajan Saxena, is an Indian management expert, academic, writer and the Vice-Chancellor of the SVKM's NMIMS, a deemed university. He is a former Director of Indian Institute of Management, Indore, S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research and ICFAI Business School, Gurgaon. Maj. Gen. D. N. Khurana, retired from the Indian Army after a distinguished service of nearly 40 years. He was honored by the President of India with the award of Ati Vashisht Seva Medal (AVSM) for distinguished services of Highly Exceptional Order. After retirement, he nearly for 12 years was Director General of All India Management Association (AIMA). Mr. Suresh Mhatre, was the Vice-President at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Over 30 years of consulting and managerial experience in change management and implementation of best practices; extensively networked in the consulting and academic communities; involved in strategic planning for the Indian’s leading IT firm. Currently, he leads the IT Strategy team for e Governance, Ports and Academic Institutions. Dr. Rajeev Uberoi, currently General Counsel & Head - Legal & Audit at IDFC Bank Limited, India also the Chief Executive Officer, IDFC Financial Holding Company Limited. More than 37 years of experience in Banking, had also worked with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) during his initial year. Prateek’s association with all the Mentors still goes on, on personal and professional terms.

In 2016, he started with another initiative for skilling people in different fields so that they can have a better quality life. He started an LLP by the name Pragati Skills and later in 2017 started another LLP by the name Munitor Workskills. Offering training programmes ranging from F&B Housekeeping, Beauticians, Mechanics, and Front Desk to specializing in Retail Sales, Organic Farming, Mining, etc, the company is dedicated to contribute to the Country by increasing the skilled workforce in various sectors of the Industry.

Prateek is trying his best to ensure that the institute attains national standards of educational excellence in all endeavors viz. teaching, training, research and consultancy for multi-dimensional development of students and furthermore to offer quality academic services to students with an objective to enhance their knowledge, skills and attitudes.

He also travelled intensively to foreign countries to enhance in knowledge in the field of Education and Skilling. We had understood the process of setting up Institute in foreign countries such as Singapore, Mauritius, and Dubai. He had close interactions with Governments of these countries in relate to set up an Institute. Prateek was also part of the International Delegates which went to London, UK under Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Sivraj Singh Chauhan for the Investor’s Meet in Madhya Pradesh.

He is not confined to his Educational Institute or Skill Development only, but is ready to spread his wings in the bigger educational World by opening a Private University for further contribution in the realm of education. He dreams to re-define education as he believes that education is something which remains within forever and affects eternity. He is aiming at multi-dimensional magnification of competencies of an Indian student viz. intellectual, personal, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and research orientation so that the student can compete with foreign students and brings laurels to our nation. He is trying to make an attempt to keep the institute in pace with global academic environment for betterment of society. He strongly believes that “Teamwork is the ability to work together towards a common vision, the ability to direct individual accomplishments towards organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”

Prateek’s family business has been in the field of Real Estate Development, Manufacturing, Construction, Trading, and Media from more than 35 years. The Hindi Daily Newspaper is by the name of ‘Chautha Sansar’. The newspaper is published out of Indore, and been circulated across the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Prateek is very active in Social circle, been on various post on different Social circles. Done lot of charities from making classrooms for schools to providing books and other materials to under privileged kids, also help youth with training in different fields.

Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO)
The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) is a Global business network of 14,000+ leading entrepreneurs in 188 chapters and 58 countries. At its core, EO is a collection of like-minded entrepreneurs focused on business growth, personal development and community engagement.
Been an EO member since 2013, been on Chapter Board and Regional Board, President of Indore Chapter from 2018-2019.

Round Table
Round Table now flourishes in the majority of European countries, throughout Africa, the Middle East, India, Hong Kong, New Zealand and America. Over the recent few years it has expanded in Asia with new clubs being formed in Colombo, Nepal, Russia, Bangladesh and Singapore. From a very early stage it was agreed that Round Table would be a non-political, non-religious, and non-sectarian club and this has continued to the current day. Currently, in Round Table India, there are more than 200 Tables located in 76 cities and towns, comprising of businessmen, entrepreneurs, technocrats and professionals. Men who can rise above personal concerns to seek and serve the larger needs of the community.

JITO is a worldwide organization of businessmen, industrialists, knowledge workers and professionals reflecting the glory of ethical business practices. It is a global organization set to achieve socio-economic empowerment, value based education, community welfare, practice of compassion, spread of global friendship and spiritual upliftment of fellow beings.
Been Founder Chief Parton (FCP) member since 2013.

JITO Administrative Training Foundation (JATF)
A seed that was planted under the aegis of Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) has come to fruition and has grown by leaps and bounds. JATF provides bright young students with the impetus and facilities to hone their skills and crack some of the toughest entrance tests in India. Be it the UPSC, CA, IIT JEE, CAT or XAT to name a few, it is our sacred duty to empower young minds to become more productive by gaining knowledge. Its goal is to encourage youngsters from the Jain community to study at the best possible institutions and be in positions where they can be agents of change. Civil Services and entrepreneurship are two avenues that can make it possible.

International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON)
ISKCON, otherwise known as the Hare Krishna movement, includes five hundred major centers, temples and rural communities, nearly one hundred affiliated vegetarian restaurants, thousands of namahattas or local meeting groups, a wide variety of community projects, and millions of congregational members worldwide. Although less than fifty years on the global stage, ISKCON has expanded Worldwide.
