Born on 1-1-1951 in Rajasthan, Prakash Jain did his initial schooling in Mumbai & completed engineering graduation in telecommunication from Pune Engineering College in 1973. Soon after graduation he left for USA to pursue Master of Science (Computer) at Polytechnic University New York and thereafter MBA at Columbia University, New York.

Once graduated, in 1975, he joined IBM in USA and thereafter DEC, both were World’s largest (No 1 & 2) Computer and IT Companies. He gained the work experience of more than 14 years in USA before returning back to India in 1991.

He established two most advance telecom equipment manufacturing factories in Nasik in 1992 for telecom products & systems such as subscriber carrier systems, remote switching systems and fiber optic systems; all of them for the first time introduced in to the Department of Telecom Network. In 1995 the company diversified in to BPO/ Call Center. In addition in 1997 it was first to seize the opportunity to usher into Global Managed Network Services in India; building end to end networks for Banks, MNCs and Indian IT Multinationals. In short span of 6 years, more than 400 MNCs and Indian enterprises were delivering their IT and ITES services utilizing i2i Networks. More than 90% of the India’s Financial Data Connectivity for SWIFT Global banking for all the banks India was enabled by i2i network.

In June 2007 i2i Enterprise Ltd was acquired by BT (http://www.telegraphindia.com/1070207/asp/business/story_7358926.asp). From June 2007 till Dec 2008 he served as Vice Chairman BT India)

After completing his services at BT India he started new business under Inspira Enterprise in Jan 2009. In a span of 3 years it has grown from start up to more than Rs. 1000 Cr organization.

Inspira is a leading IT, Networking, Biometric and Homeland Security Solution Provider in partnership with the World’s renowned Technology caompanies like Hewlett Packard, Dell, 3M Cogent, L1-ID Bioscrypt, GarrettCom, Juniper Networks, Array Networks and SafeNet. These solutions have positioned Inspira as an end-to-end integrator in verticals such as Government, PSU, Defense, Banking & Financial Services, Telecom and Large Enterprises.
